The Last Out Film

Hello! My name is Tyler Whitman. I am the Creator, Writer and Director of the film "The Last Out." “The Last Out” is a film made in an attempt to open the conversation of suicide. Far too many people in today's world are affected by the ripple effects it leaves in our communities. This film uses America’s pastime, baseball, as a vehicle to bring a message of hope to its viewers to reach those struggling. If this message helps just one person, it has done its job.

The film has been completed! Pre-Production began in June of 2021 without shooting dates for production at the end of July. The film was then put through the post-production process to be completed on January 1st, 2022.

 

With the film already complete, our goal with this GoFundMe is to raise money to help distribute the film. Getting the film into film festivals throughout the country and world is an expensive process, and we need all the help we can get. I genuinely believe that the message of hope that this film conveys is required as a starting point for many in today's world. Those struggling with the many aspects of suicide need an outlet to be able to talk and communicate with others to show that they are not alone.
