My name is Dawid, known as The Last Breath Poet.

I never set out to be a poet — but during cancer treatment, poetry found me.

Writing became my way to breathe, to make sense of fear and pain, and to rediscover hope.

Now I’m ready to publish my first poetry collection — a book that traces survival, humour, and meaning in the face of illness.

I’m raising funds to cover publishing costs and to give something back: money raised from the book sale will be donated to Cancer Research UK and Blood Cancer UK and Lymphoma Action to support their vital work in research and future treatment development.

If my words can help others find courage, perspective, or simply a moment of calm — that will be my greatest reward.
