We are very sad to share the loss of our beloved colleague and friend, Gricelda Lopez, Lead Massage Therapist for Chuan Spa who passed away on Sunday, May 10. Gricelda has been a part of our Langham Huntington family since 1998 and most known for her care and affectionate. “The Mom” of the Chuan Spa, Gricelda brought a strong sense of comfort to the team and was always there for her colleagues both professionally and personally. Gricelda is survived by her husband and three sons.
The hotel has launched a very special initiative, “Race to Hong Kong,” to raise funds in celebration of the life of Gricelda and to assist with memorial expenses.
The Race To Hong Kong challenge is a virtual journey of 7,234 miles from our hotel in Pasadena to home office in Hong Kong. All colleagues are invited to contribute miles by walking, running or cycling to reach the final destination in time for TLLON’s 155th birthday on June 10, 2020.
Sponsorships and donations can be made using our designated GoFundMe page. Colleagues who wish to participate can track their running/cycling on the Social Network app Strava, or compile manually internally with evidence support.
