The Langdon Journey 2023

I’m writing with regards to my youngest cousin Serene Langdon. I’m one of her older cousins. She has been struggling dealing with her medical by herself and not asking for help. I know how strong she is and determined to do this by herself. But we are at a point where we need some more help for this next chapter. She has undergone a very difficult medical path over the last 3 years. Recently, the last 11 months she has had 8 surgeries with no conclusion or remedy to what’s going on medically with her. She has been poked, prodded, surgery after surgery. She is currently on TPN (parenteral nutrition) to stay alive because she is unable to support herself nutritionally. As of right now, the drs last hope is to send her to the MAYO CLINIC to see if they can find out what is going on or to help her. She is on the list to go, the drs think because of her condiction she will be going within a couple weeks. Her husband has taken on all responsibilities of the two youngest kids, household responsibilities, and financial burden as Serene is not able to accommodate such responsibility at this time. This is a very sensitive space for this family as it has taken a toll on their entire life. We are hoping we can help raise some money for any expenses towards travel, bills, and future & current medical costs.
