The Lakeshore 5 and 10K Invitational
In the running community, the current pandemic has altered the plans of those planning to run in races this year. However, it has also left those in need of basic necessities extremely vulnerable.
On June 15th-20th, I'm excited to launch the first ever virtual Lakeshore Invitational 5/10K- a race designed to provide purpose in our lives through personal fitness, while pitching in to help those that need it most. This race will be in support of The Compass- a great organization located in South Mississauga providing healthy sources of food, as well as great services to the people who need it most.
Registration can be made using the Google Sheets link down below in one or both of the races. The entry fee for the race will be a donation of any amount (i.e- $5) to this GoFundMe page. All donations will be sent directly to The Compass, and you will receive a tax receipt for your donation.
Tim Hortons' gift cards will be up for grabs to the top 3 of each race!
