I am writing this with the heaviest of hearts... For my best friend, who I call a sister, and her family who have always been like family to me.
On Friday morning, March 24th, a tragedy broke lose. Paris and I were on the phone, as usual, every morning... We spoke of our day ahead. She mentioned having so much cleaning to do and needing to get started. We hung up, and what happened next is beyond anything either of us could ever dream of. Her house caught fire. The home is no longer livable, it is unrecognizable.
Presley, paris's daughter who is in kindergarten was at school, but paris's elderly grandmother was asleep in her bedroom.
Thank God Paris and her grandmother managed to escape the flames but they did so with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
Presley, just 5 years old lost her father suddenly and tragically just two short years ago. Now she has no home.
I live over 2000 miles away and am devasted I cannot be there for my best friend at this time.
Please, friends, family, I ask and plead to please consider any donation, big or small.
Clothes, food, etc, toiletries, anything at all. These beautiful women lost it all.
I will update with clothing sizes as soon as possible.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read, donate, pray, or send positive thoughts to this family.
❤Brigid
