It's time to rally around one of the most amazing friends and teachers out there—Katie! If you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting her, you know she’s a force of nature. Katie has spent her life educating and inspiring countless students, always with a big smile, a kind word, and a heart full of love. Now, this incredible woman is facing breast cancer, her 3rd cancer diagnosis. Yes, you read that right—third! But if there’s anyone who can kick cancer to the curb, it’s Katie.

Katie has already beaten two different types of cancer in the past, and she’s showing all of us what true strength and resilience look like. Katies's job unfortunately does not provide *paid medical leave*. That means every day she spends getting treatment and focusing on her health is a day without income.
