It is with a heavy heart that we share the untimely passing of Shane Krey. On the morning of January 21, 2020 Shane Krey unexpectedly passed away, at the age of 36, from a unknown medical condition leaving behind his wife, Shannon, and their two young boys, Asher (age 10), and Trace (age 7).  

Shane was a beloved father, son, and brother.  Shane had a one-of-a-kind lasting impression on almost everyone he met.  Shane enjoyed working in the construction industry with his Dad, John Krey, at 4 X 4 (four by four) Concrete.  Shane was also an avid outdoorsman which included fishing, golfing, and boating at Chatfield on the family pontoon boat.  

Shane was so full of life and love for his family and his loss will leave a hole that cannot be filled.  His loss will be a significant financial hardship for Shannon, Asher, and Trace. 

My name is Jeremy Zele, and I am Shannon's older brother.  My wife (Kayla) and I are establishing this fund to support Shannon, Asher, and Trace with ongoing financial needs.  Please consider helping Shane’s wife and two boys in this tragic time of need. 

While the upcoming days, weeks, and months will be tough without Shane, let us celebrate his life in how we live.

A lunch reception will immediately follow.  The family will hold a Private Interment Ceremony at 2:30 pm for immediate family at the Seven Stones Cemetery in Roxborough,  Colorado.
