The Koozie Scholarship Fund

Koozie was just skin and bones in the 9th Ward of New Orleans when Villalobos Rescue Center found her tied to a chain link fence with zip ties. They nourished her back to health with a lot of love, time, and vet bills. They do this everyday for dogs like Koozie. They take on the most devastating cases of animal cruelty and turn them into success stories. The dogs graduate into loving homes and become proud VRC Alumni. We owe them so much. Without Villalobos, we would’ve never met Koozie. It takes $10,000 a day to keep their operation running. We want to help other dogs like Koozie graduate from a life of abuse or neglect, succeed in the VRC rehabilitation program, and become VRC alumni in loving forever homes. It would mean the world to us to be able to turn this loss into something positive. Thank you so much!
