Support for the Kolos family

Help the Kolos family

We are reaching out for help for our dear friend and her children. Olha and her two children came to Canada in 2022 to escape the war in the Ukraine, leaving behind her beloved husband Alex who was serving in the Ukrainian army.

Despite the distance the family remained close, with Alex calling Olha and the children daily to provide encouragement and love while Olha and the kids navigated the ups and downs of settling in Canada.

Olha has worked very hard to provide her children with everything they need while trying to plan a future together as a family in Canada, With the hopes of Alex one day joining them.

Sadly that all changed on March 28th when Alex was tragically killed in an explosion. He died a hero to his country and family.

Olha is now facing a new reality as a widowed mother alone in Canada. We are hoping to help ease her financial burden as she and the children morn the loss of their patriarch and navigate this new chapter. Olha has dreams of being able to go to school to gain her level 3 in early childcare to be able to fully financially support her children as she has now lost the financial support Alex provided.

On top of the loss of financial support Alex provided, Olha’s mother and disabled sister have lost the person who provided daily support to them in the Ukraine. Olha is doing her best to provide for her family in Canada as well as her family in the Ukraine. All contributions will go directly to Olha and her children to help secure their future as permanent residence here in Canada, their now home.
