The Kneebone's - Local Legends

Hi everyone,

My name is Lauren and I am a friend of the Kneebone's. As you may be aware, in September this year, the mighty Brett had a stroke. As a result of this, his speech and memory is affected, he has very restricted movement in his right side and a slight droop in his face. If you were to see Brett around town, you might think "Geez, he looks good" or "Wow, he's recovered well" but the truth is, every single day is a battle, the bills keep coming, and as it is not known exactly how much therapy Brett will need, this strong little family is only at the beginning of their journey.

Upon entering the Christmas period, I figured there is no better time than now, for us as a community, to spare a thought and hopefully some "pocket change" for our friends, The Kneebones. The money raised will go towards supporting Brett's recovery, and anything else the family need to get through this period and beyond.

Every little bit counts and I know it will be received with a hell of a lot of thanks and love in return. To be honest, they probably HATE me doing this, especially Brett who would not want to take/feel like "charity" but, stuff him ;). How can we not help out, right?!
