hello everyone! This is Tracy, Vicki and Melissa and we are reaching out in hopes of helping our friend. Some call her Cathy, but we call her Kitty.... and she has been a sick little kitten over the past month. What began as a kidney stone, has now progressed into a scary situation for our friend.
The surgery to remove the stones revealed a complete blockage, and a completely atrophied kidney. The complications have snowballed leaving her with a non-functioning kidney, Bell's palsy, closed esophagus (cannot eat or drink) , extreme fatigue, and extreme anxiety and worry.
Having spent most of October in one hospital or another, they admitted her again on October 28th and as of today have no clue what is going on. She will have to remain in the hospital until she has regained the ability to swallow.
This all with no insurance. We will be working with hospital to possibly get help with those expenses, but are reaching out to see if we can pull together and provide assistance to help Kitty with living expenses. This is just to give her a little breathing room, so she can heal without panicking. Anything would be greatly appreciated.
