The Kite Short Film

Hi Friends & Family!

I am currently a Senior at Liberty University in their Zaki Gordon Center for Cinematic Arts pursuing a degree in Film and Content Development. As part of this program, we create a senior thesis short film. While Liberty provides all of the equipment, we are in charge of raising funds for everything else that is needed to make a film, such as food for cast & crew, Locations, paying cast and crew, and Production Design. In total it will require $4000 to complete this project.

Plot Summary:

This is a story of childhood, parenthood, and asking for help. Set in the 1930s, Robert, a young boy, wants nothing more than a brand new kite, but what will his dad say about it?

Rewards:

-A donation of any amount will receive a personal thank you from the Director and Producer

-$10 or more will receive a special thanks in the credits (Along with Personal Thanks)

-$100 or more will receive an associate producer credit. (Along with Personal Thanks, special thanks credit)

Breakdown of use of funds:

22% will be used to pay our cast

20% will be used to pay our crew

20% will go towards Production Design, Wardrobe & Hair & Make-Up

18% will cover other Production Costs (Travel, lodging, etc.)

10% will be used to Food for Cast & Crew

10% will go towards Location costs
