The King's School, Grantham share an exciting fundraising initiative organised by our School Council: the “King’s Floodlight Fundraiser.” This campaign aims to raise funds to purchase portable LED floodlights, which will benefit a wide range of school activities and enhance opportunities for our students.

These floodlights are lightweight, portable and an eco-friendly approach towards floodlighting and they will allow our rugby and football teams to train safely during the darker winter months to help them towards further sporting successes in future. Beyond sport, they will also support the wider school community, including CCF camps, drama productions, alumni events, and other school activities that require reliable indoor or outdoor lighting.

Fundraising Goals

We have identified the below fundraising targets. Depending on how much we can fundraise, it will enable us to purchase more floodlights, chargers and batteries to illuminate larger areas:

• £2,320 – purchase of 4 floodlights

• £4,635 – purchase of 8 floodlights

• £5,795 – purchase of 10 floodlights

Therefore, every contribution will help us move closer to creating a more versatile and accessible environment for our students.
