An amazing soul tragically lost: Isaias Valdez
Donation protected
Isaias was one of the most amazing people to ever walk the earth. His death came suddenly and tragically from one day to the next by a birth defect never caught by a physician. He had had just graduated high school and had his whole life to look forward to. He was going to join the army, and serve his country because that's who he was. Isaias would always help, and would help with a smile on his face. A beautiful smile that wouldn't expect anything in return. A young soul who was years ahead of his age who was polite, courteous, and always willing to lend a helping hand, as anyone who knew him can attest to.
I had the privilege of coaching Isaias since his middle school years, both football and track. He was the ideal student-athlete. We never had to worry about his grades or behavior, always showed to practice, and always practiced his heart out. He had two modes at practice: go hard & go harder. His attitude was about as steadfast and determined as one could hope for in an athlete. However, the best part about him as an athlete was his ability to assist his fellow teammates and lead by example. If someone was struggling to finish, Isaias was one of the first to go out and motivate them to push through, despite being exhausted himself.
Isaias is survived by his parents, two brothers, and a sister, all of whom I know personally and all of whom are amazing people. These funds will go directly to help his family pay for Isaias's final expenses. This is the most tragic thing any family can experience and I am just trying to help them with the financial burden. They did not ask for this, but I am going to help them anyway I can. Anything you can donate is a blessing and will be greatly appreciated.
