The Kilbeggan 1000 Mile Challenge (2022) - Community initiative to raise much needed funds for Kilbeggan Shamrocks GAA and LGFA

The club is planning a fundraiser on the Saturday and Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend. We will be running the Kilbeggan Shamrocks GAA & LGFA 1,000 Mile Challenge with the aim of raising €5,000 for much needed funds for the club.

From 9am to 6pm on both days outside Centra Kilbeggan we will have volunteers cycling to meet our target of 1,000 miles over the course of the weekend. Each person will be assigned their own time slot of 30 minutes or an hour and the bikes will be sanitised after each person uses them.

For those away from home you can participate in the challenge virtually and tag our social media pages to help us meet our goal. Donations can be made through this GoFundMe link and there will be collection buckets outside the shop each day.
