On Thursday, June 15, 2017, Sammy Khalil (the one pictured - 27), his mother, Hala, and his younger sister, Sarah, all tragically passed away in a house fire. They left behind Sammer (23) as he was away for school at the time of the fire. Anyone who is from Dundas knows we were all raised together – whether you were friends with the Khalil’s or just knew of them! Now is a time to stick together. My heart is absolutely grieved at the loss Sammer is experiencing as a young adult, without his family.
Please give whatever you can to help support Sammer during his time of grieving. Any funds will be given to Sammer, to be used at his discretion, in the difficult weeks,months and years to come.
