In Loving Memory of Keyaan Saad

Keyaan was more than just a son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend — he was the kind of person whose heart was too big for this world. Anyone who knew Keyaan knew that he never judged people. He never looked at what someone had, where they came from, what they looked like, or what mistakes they had made. He saw people for who they were and treated everyone with the same kindness, respect and compassion. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued and cared for, and that is something so rare to find. His friends meant the world to him. He was fiercely loyal to the people he loved and would do anything for those he cared about. Whether someone needed advice, support, a laugh, or simply someone to sit beside them, Keyaan was always there. He carried the weight of other people’s problems without ever asking for anything in return. Above all, Keyaan adored his family. The bond he shared with his grandmother was something truly special. He loved her with all his heart and always wanted to make sure she was okay. His love for his family was reflected in everything he did. At a young age, Keyaan was faced with devastating challenges when his mother suffered a serious brain injury that made everyday life extremely difficult for her and her children. Despite being just a young boy himself, Keyaan always worried about the people around him before he worried about himself. He cared deeply for his family and carried responsibilities no child should ever have to carry. He was a loving brother to his two sisters and loved them more than words can describe. He was protective, caring and always wanted the best for them. The bond he shared with his sister Sienna was especially strong. They grew up side by side through some of life’s hardest moments and leaned on each other through challenges many people could never imagine. The loss of Keyaan has left a void in Sienna’s life that can never truly be filled. She has lost not only a brother, but a best friend, a source of comfort, and a piece of her heart. The grief of losing someone so young, with so much life still ahead of him, is something no sister should ever have to endure. Every memory, every milestone, and every future moment will carry the absence of someone she loved so deeply.

His father has also been faced with the unimaginable reality of stepping forward and carrying even greater responsibility in caring for his children while navigating the heartbreak of losing his son. The loss of Keyaan has deeply affected every member of his family, and the pain left behind is something that words could never fully describe. Despite everything life placed in front of him, Keyaan remained kind. He remained loving. He remained selfless. He was excited for his future. He dreamed of getting his first car, building a life for himself, one day having children of his own, and creating a future surrounded by the people he loved. He had so much life ahead of him and so many dreams still waiting to be fulfilled. In honour of Keyaan’s memory, we are raising funds to continue the kindness and generosity that defined who he was. Anyone who knew Keyaan knew how much he loved helping others, especially those who were struggling or less fortunate. Giving wasn’t something he did for recognition — All donations will go towards assisting our family with the unexpected funeral cost for keyaan, and the rest will go to towards charitable acts, helping families facing hardship, providing essentials to those in need, and continuing the compassion and generosity that Keyaan showed throughout his life. While nothing can ever replace the incredible boy we have lost, we hope to keep his legacy alive by helping others in the same way he always would have.Thank you for helping us honour Keyaan’s life, his beautiful heart, and the impact he had on so many people.
