Hello, I'm Emma from, and raising funds for, the Kerry Blue Terrier Rescue. Many of you will already know me as a rehoming co-Ordinator and the Treasurer.

Thanks to all your kind donations in the past we were able to rescue a beautiful Kerry earlier this year and have him rehabilitated by one of our very trusted trainers. This was a costly exercise but really was the difference between life and death for the dog as he couldn't have been safely rehomed with his track record nor in the mental state he was handed to us in. He is now in a lovely home with somebody who understands him and gives him everything that he needs to live a healthy balanced life.

As a result of this case I would very much like to boost the bank balance and raise funds for us to continue our work in the way we have done for the past 8 years. I suffered a back injury in February 2023 and was told that running wouldn't be an option for me again, however, with the full bravado of a Kerry, inability to accept the word "no", physio and training I'm back and hope to be able to complete the 2024 Big Half in London on 1st September, with the possibility of linking in with the wonderful Bark Up group after I have crossed the finishing line.
