The Kelly Fitzgibbons Foundation

As many of you will know I set up a Just Giving page to enable me to register a Charity in memory of my twin sister Kelly and my nieces Ava and Lexi, whose lives ended tragically on 29th March 2020. All three were shot, a horrific murder, at the hands of Kelly’s partner, the girls Dad, who went on to then take his own life.

My mission for the charity, The Kelly Fitzgibbons Foundation, is to provide information, advice and guidance as well as practical and emotional support to families who loose loved ones in traumatic circumstances such as familicide. I also want us to campaign for changes to gun licensing laws as we believe some simple changes could prevent other similar tragedies.

We were overwhelmed by the donations received and easily hit our target and the amount we needed to register our charity and we were thrilled to become officially registered as charity this summer. Registered Charity Number 1194774

So please do continue to donate. The money already raised will be used to start delivering our objectives. The Foundation will be posting regular updates so you can see how the work is progressing.
