Introduction:

Hi everyone, we’re reaching out to you because our friends, the Kellam family, need our help! They recently discovered their house has black mold, and this mold has contributed to seizures in their 4-year-old son Jackson. The cost to fix the home is $30,000, so we’re raising $20,000 to help cover part of the cost of remediation to make their home livable again.

Story:

The Kellam family moved to Denver from Fort Collins last year to help plant Skyline Church with the Crossway Church Planting Network, and Justin is also a Pastor-In-Training. After 12 years of working towards owning a house, they finally purchased one! They have been so generous to use it to bless the church. Unfortunately, they have recently discovered a black mold problem that has been spreading dangerous mycotoxins throughout their home. This has seemingly triggered a seizure disorder in their oldest son who is just 4 years old.

In order to bring their home to a safe and healthy environment for their family, the black mold and mycotoxins will need to be aggressively removed from their house via a costly mold remediation & testing process. This process will also require them to leave their home for several weeks.
