The Keenan Klan

On June 12, 2017, John Lawrence Keenan, lost his battle to MS. He is survived by his wife, Nicole Keenan and his beautiful and caring sons, Patrick and Robert, affectionately  known as Bobby or "Boots". As most of you know, John had uncanny sense of humor, loved Grateful Dead and all types of music. He was a great conversationlist and always had a way of presenting his point of view with intelligence and wit. As a father, he was encouraging and instilled in his children the importance of doing whatever they chose to do well with pride and confidence. He was one to debate his love and allegiance for the Rangers, Mets and Jets and God help you if you decide to argue your point against his teams. He was decisive, smart and loving, with a sarcastic, and at times blunt, but always hysterical commentary on life. Even when faced with his disease, his perspective was to face it head on and live life to the best of his ability.  He was not a complainer, but a realist and in part, touched the lives of many in his travels and he will be missed greatly. 
For those who may not know the tragic and difficult challenge of living with Progressive MS, MS, also known as Multiple Sclerosis, is a disease that attacks the immune system and eats away at the protective covering of nerves. In light of John's path, God chose to take him sooner than expected. Typically, those afflicted  with this debilitating disease, will have the fortune of surviving much longer than our dearest JK did. With this sudden loss, in support of his grieving family,  any or all contributions will be welcomed and greatly appreciated  to assist with all financial obligations that will be presented.  Much love and peace to JK and his family.
