The Keegan Project: A Home for Good
Not every dog gets adopted.
But every dog deserves to belong.
Some dogs wait a few months.
Others wait a few years.
And some — the “lifers” — wait a lifetime.
They’re the dogs who’ve survived neglect, war, or simply the world’s indifference. They aren’t broken — they’re just waiting for someone to see them.
That’s why we’re launching The Keegan Project — in honour of our sanctuary friend Keegan, who taught us that love doesn’t depend on adoption. It’s about giving every dog, even those left behind, a home for good.

Where Your Donation Goes
Your support helps cover:
Lifetime food and medication for senior or special-needs dogs
Accessible spaces and safe runs for our “lifers”
Medical care, comfort beds, enrichment toys, and mobility aids. Transportation for rescues in partnership with BETA Lebanon — like Fury, Moyka, and Chagal, who are waiting for adoption and flights to safety
Each dog costs around $800 USD to champion. That’s the price of one rescue’s ticket to freedom — from a shelter in Beirut to a safe home at our sanctuary.
Now imagine this:
☕ A Tim Hortons coffee costs about $2.50.
If just 320 people donated the cost of one coffee, we could fund one full flight.
With 3,200 supporters, we could fund ten lives saved.

How You Can Help
• Donate the cost of your coffee, lunch, or latte — it all adds up.
• Share this story so others can see the dogs who deserve a forever home — even if it looks different.
• Follow along as The Keegan Project grows and more “lifers” find safety, love, and family here at New Leash on Love Sanctuary.
⸻
Not every dog will leave the sanctuary.
But thanks to you — none of them will ever be alone again.
