The Kay-Swanbeck House Fire Support
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family and Community Members,
Late in the evening on April 1, a fire broke out in the annex portion of my mom's house at 304 Center Street in Huron, Ohio. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt, and everyone made it out of the house safely. However, because of the speed at which the fire spread, no one was able to retrieve anything. No clothes. No possessions. None of our family heirlooms. Not even my grandmother's ashes. And after firefighters fought the flames for over 10 hours, the entire house has been considered a total loss with water, fire, or smoke damage to every room.

Although everyone is safe today, they are merely surviving as their shock gives way to sorrow and they begin to figure out what to do next. With living so far away from Huron, I wished there was more that I could do to support my family during this devastating time. This is why I would humbly ask for your help. I understand that money is tough to come by, but every bit would help my family pick up the pieces and start over.
Please help us if you can and thank you for your consideration and generosity!
All the best,
Chris
UPDATE: When launching this campaign, I never would have expected to reach this goal so quickly. Saying that we are thankful doesn't begin to express our deep gratitude for all of those who have donated, helped out, or just sent us prayers and well wishes. Although we have increased the goal as our costs continually mount, we are grateful for anything that you could contribute. We truly thank you all. From the bottom of our hearts.
