On October 25, Blue Buffalo lost one of its brightest lights. Bear Grant was not only a passionate creative leader and linchpin of our team; he was also everybody’s biggest cheerleader and best friend.

To say we loved Bear would be a dramatic understatement. And Bear loved nobody more than his wife Alisha and their sweet dog, Kayda. That’s why his colleagues at Studio B are coming together to support them both with the The Kayda Fund.

Our goal is to help Alisha care completely for Kayda — be that with doggy daycare, vet visits, food or treats — without worry, and for as long as possible. But she will be encouraged to use the funds however she sees fit to navigate this new world.

May this fund be but one reminder of the generosity Bear showed to everyone he knew, every day of his life.
