Hi friends! As many of you know, we recently moved to Florida to create a better life for our family. We got off to a very rocky start here after Jon unexpectedly lost his job and was unemployed for many months. Then, after several months of living in our rental home, we started developing various symptoms in addition to the chronic conditions we were already dealing with - severe Autism, Lyme disease, and significant developmental delays. We started having severe skin issues, nose bleeds, sore throats, severe GI issues, fatigue, anxiety, and more. As dedicated as we have been to health and wellness, we knew something else was at play here. Me and the boys have been heavily impacted and unwell for over a year. After testing, we discovered our rental home has high levels of mold that is making us sick. It has been heartbreaking to watch my kids suffer and not be able to really help. So many foods can reactions and every day we feel unwell in some respect.

We have been unable to move until now due to finances but we have finally found a home.

We have been advised by professionals to throw out as much furniture as we can so that we don’t contaminate our next home. We are taking a conservative approach and purchasing new beds and couches and taking most everything else. As I’m sure you can imagine, the costs are high plus the added costs of medical treatment for our family. Of everything we have been through, this has been the most difficult thing we have encountered. We hate to ask for help but we are humbly asking for it. Mold is devastating in all aspects of life. The funds raised here will be used to purchase new beds, couches, and treatment for the family. This is one of the most devastating and hardest things we have been through.
