The Katherine McElweenie Memorial Fund

Katherine McElweenie was an amazing friend, sister, and daughter. She dedicated her life to her parents Martha & Steve, and her two younger brothers Robert & Colin. Her goal in life was to become a doctor, where she aimed to help as many people that she could.

Katie recently lost her battle with mental health. Everyone who knew her can say with pride that she fought extremely hard. The world lost an extremely precious human being, a person that lit up any room she entered.

Katie`s goal to help people continues today, as all funds raised here will be going to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). CMHA is an organization that provides mental health services to over 1.3 million Canadians. Our goal is to donate to this organization in hopes that more Canadians receive the adequate resources and care that mental health demands.

Any donation will help make an impact, big or small. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

More information about Canadian Mental Health Association: As the nationwide leader and champion for mental health, CMHA facilitates access to the resources people require to maintain and improve mental health and community integration, build resilience, and support recovery from mental illness.
