Dear Community,

On Monday, February 21, we received the heartbreaking news that our beloved friend, soccer star and Leverett Elementary School 6th grader Justice Mekuria Miller was caught in a rip tide and drowned in Puerto Rico. All of us in Leverett are devastated by the loss of this brilliant, funny, talented and loving child. We want to do everything we can to hold Justice’s family close as they move through this loss. They are creating an account in his name, the Justice Fund, to be used for projects he would have loved. We will share more on that as it develops. Please join us in surrounding this family with love and support.
