On Sunday Sept. 8th Peter Collins o/o of The Highland Junction suffered a silent stroke. The family life and Business they enjoyed changed forever. The Hospital staff call him "Miracle Man" because he survived a massive brain bleed. Airlifted fr. Peterborough Hosp. To Kingston he survived Emergency Surgery with a 2% survival rate.
He spent 3 weeks there with his wife Dianne constantly by his side along with their children John & Sarah and their spouses(Jeff & Audrey) Currently he is in Peterborough Hosp. trying to recover.
Peter was the breadwinner for the family operating the Vacuum Cleaner Shop on Hwy.118 ,A famaliar sign we pass by.The Day to Day expenses are a struggle, with costs for Hotel , Transportation , fuel, meals and parking costs. In addition renovations will be necessary to their home to accommodate his future needs to come home. We are praying, wishing the Collins' family love & strength during this Unexpected Medical Emergency.
Any donations possible for the ongoing expenses would be extremely Appreciated. We Thank you for your kindness and Support.
