In the United States, nearly 40% of food goes to waste while 47 million Americans go hungry. Along with this, 733 million people globally lack consistent access to fresh and healthy food. Sharing Excess takes clean, healthy food that would have otherwise been wasted and helps feed those in need. Since 2018, Sharing Excess has distributed enough food to feed over 10 million people across the country. Every dollar counts as giving just $1 will help feed 10 people.
