Support Young Pilgrims on their Journey to Rome for the Jubilee Year of Hope
I’m organising this fundraiser on behalf of the young people of St Charles Borromeo, Ogle Street, who have been given the opportunity to attend a pilgrimage to Rome this summer as part of the Catholic Church’s Jubilee Year of Hope.
Our main fundraising initiative is a fundraising concert, The Jubilee Jam. On Sunday the 6th of July, at the Church of the Holy Apostles, Pimlico, London, join us for an evening of live music performances, prizes, food and drinks! Everyone is welcome to attend, and for those who can't, please consider donating here.
This Jubilee, celebrated only once every 25 years, invites the faithful from around the world to journey to Rome. Our group will join tens of thousands of young people from across the globe on a shared journey of faith, prayer, and encounter with the universal Church.
The fruits of this experience are life changing. Many young people return with a renewed relationship with Christ, a deeper understanding of their mission, and even a call to vocation — whether in marriage, religious life, or service in the Church. They come back strengthened, and ready to live out their faith.
We are seeking your support to help cover the costs of travel, accommodation, and participation fees. Every donation, whether big or small, brings us one step closer to the Holy Door at St Peters Basilica. Not only Rome, we will be visiting different places such as Assisi, La Verna, Porto San Giorgio and Arezzo. All these sites important to our faith offer profound connections to the life of Christ and the rich history of the Church.
Thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and for walking with us on this journey of hope.
