Help me buy a typewriter to write my zine!

I have found the perfect functioning and “noiseless” (!) typewriter for sale locally on Facebook marketplace. I’d love to buy it with your help. Read on for more:

Our friends, muses, interactions, and social settings are progressively moving more and more online—and with that move people are becoming more disconnected from one another and finding themselves lost, living in an intangible world made of pixels and code.

In my attempt to bring our lives back to the tangible I am taking my writing, my art, and my “content creation” offline. I’ve been collecting works to make into a Zine to distribute locally, hand to hand, with stamps by postal workers, and by word of mouth. I don’t want to add another page to the ever inflated internet just to get lost between ads and AI. I want to provide a tactile experience; paper in hand with all the sounds, textures, and smells that come with the written word and an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.

This Zine will be written from my heart and mind and hand. Pictures drawn, collected, collaged, and photos taken with a camera and printed (hopefully a film camera is next to come).

Our consciousness still lives in our bodies and the lives we live should be here too— not in the ever fragmenting surreal screenscapes.

So, in this walk from online to analogue, any donations would be appreciated to help me gather the supplies I need for the journey.
