The Jose R Amador (Skematik JRA) Post-Stroke Fund

Donation protected

On June 28th, José Ramon Amador, beloved son, sibling and friend, suffered what the doctors have said to be the latest in a series of strokes. While the resulting damage the stroke caused could have been worse, José's left side is still experiencing partial paralysis. His medical team believe that José could be back at, if not close to, 100% with time and arduous physical training.

The rehabilitation process could take anywhere from three to 12 months. During this time, José will be unable to drive, lift objects, work and is only supposed to focus on his recovery. How would he pay rent, bills or make ends meet? How would he get to and from the physical therapist?

This is where you come in, friends. You can relieve José of the added burden of financial stress (which is not good for José's personal stress level, which in turn isn't good for his blood pressure, you see how the cycle goes). If every person who clicked an emoji on José's Facebook announcement about this campaign would contribute at least $10, it would go a long way toward helping him pay for these day-to-day expenses. $25 would ease the strain even more.

Please contribute, and ask your network of friends to do the same.

Thanks!
