Hello! We’re the Jordan family, and we’re excited to share some big news: we’re in the process of purchasing our very first business — a beloved local coffee shop!
The bank has approved our loan, but to close the deal we need to provide a $25,000 down payment. We’ve been faithfully saving and already have half of that covered. Now, we’re asking our friends, family, and community to help us raise the remaining $12,500 so we can take this next step with stability and margin.
Why This Coffee Shop Matters
Coffee shops have always been a meaningful part of our story. One of Kelsey’s first jobs was at our favorite coffee shop back home, and it quickly became a favorite place for me (Jeremy) to read, reflect, and — best of all — spend time with my future wife. Over the years, coffee shops have been more than just places to grab a drink. They’ve been spaces for connection, conversation, and community.
When we discovered that one of our favorite local shops was for sale, it felt like the right opportunity at the right time. The current owner has encouraged us to carry forward her vision while making it our own. Even our kids (Anna, Joshua, Jonah, and Joseph) have been dreaming of ways to help in “their very own” coffee shop someday.
What This Means for Our Family & Community
Owning this business isn’t just about coffee — it’s about creating a space for connection. For our family, it means the ability to provide for our children, continue sending them to a school we value deeply, and live generously toward others. For our community, it means keeping a well-loved place alive and thriving.
How You Can Help
We are asking for your support in one of three ways:
Donate — Every gift, whether $20 or $200, brings us closer to closing day.
Share — Spreading the word expands our reach far beyond our immediate circle.
Pray/Encourage — Your support in spirit means just as much as financial help.
We are humbled by this opportunity and by the community rallying around us. Thank you for considering a gift and for being part of making this dream possible. Together, we can open the doors to a space where stories are shared, friendships are made, and good coffee is always brewing.
With gratitude,
Jeremy, Kelsey, Anna, Joshua, Jonah & Joseph Jordan
