'THE JOINT' is an Australian Drama, Comedy, LGBTQ+ Short Film.
'At a house party, a bathroom becomes the confessional stage for six chaotic young adults who drift in throughout the night.'
More specifically, A troubled birthday girl, A shitty boyfriend, both of their forbidden flames, and, the consequences that unfold from their dishonesty. Tonally inspired by the likes of TV Series' such as: Girls (HBO), Shameless U.S, & Scream Queens.
Given this is a low budget & independently produced project, with the heart and soul of an A24 production... Any and all external funds will exclusively go towards the means of:
- acquiring quality and necessary gear/film equipment
- production & costume design
- SFX/MUA
- catering for our cast & crew
- post-production, distribution & festivals
+ leftover/emergency production costs.
Any amount helps! However:
- $50+ will get you a special thanks credit & private copy of the film.
- $300+ will get you an executive producer credit & private copy of the film.
But again, any amount helps!!!
