We are setting up this go fund me to help the Johnson family raise funds for medical bills and living costs that are accruing while their daughter and sister battles Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

On September 5th Hazel experienced a medical emergency at her daycare where she went unconscious for a short period of time. She was rushed to the St. Paul Children’s ER where we learned she fainted due to low hemoglobin and a low platelet count. After being transferred to Minneapolis Children’s for further testing Hazel's doctors confirmed that she has B Cell A.L.L. (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). We are all heartbroken but we know that Hazel is feisty! She has a strong spirit and we know she will beat this.

The Johnsons have a very long 2.5 year road ahead of them but we know at the end Hazel will be cancer free. At this time they are focusing on Hazel and her twin sister Scarlett who is also adjusting to the new normal. Ethan and Sam are determined to be by Hazel’s side every step of the way and as you imagine this will require them to be away from work often. We are asking for donations to help them with living expenses and the endless stream of medical bills that we all know are coming.
