The Joe Weinle Scholarship Fund

Hi my name is Mary Weinle. I am raising money, together with my children Julia and Mitchell, to fund a scholarship in my husband's name, who recently passed away due to cancer. Mitchell wrote his college essay about adversity and how to make the best of a situation. While cancer has dealt us the worst possible hand right now, we want to create a positive situation by helping a child who has been dealt similar circumstances get a leg up. To honor Joe, who always wanted happiness and success for his kids, we would like to give a college scholarship to a graduating Milford High School senior who has lost a parent during their senior year.
