Our Story

In August 2021, we started a small but passionate comedy open mic night called "Pint & A Laugh" in the backroom of The Saracens Head in Bath. What began as a humble gathering of comedy lovers quickly grew into a thriving community of performers and audiences, who have shared laughter and joy in hundreds of shows. The time has come for us to take the next big step: creating our very own dedicated performance space, The Jesters.

Our Vision

The Jesters will be a grassroots performance space dedicated to live entertainment, hosting a variety of shows that highlight the vibrant talent within our community. As a Comedy Club and Funktion Room, it will provide a platform for both new and seasoned performers to showcase their talents, engage with audiences, and grow as artists. This will be a place where laughter, creativity, and community come together under one roof.

Our Plan

Music Nights on Thursdays: Showcasing local musicians and bands, adding a melodic touch to our weekly lineup.

Professional Comedy Club Shows on Fridays and Saturdays: Featuring top-tier comedians guaranteed to deliver side-splitting laughter.

As we grow, we also plan to introduce more exciting events, such as poetry slams, short theatre shows, and open mic nights, creating a diverse and dynamic calendar of performances.
