Hi friends,

My best friend Jessica and her family are in need of help. Last night, their home caught on fire and they were lucky enough to get themselves, their two kids, and their animals out unharmed. I am beyond grateful for their safety in a situation that could have ended so much worse. That said, almost everything is a loss - if not burned, damaged from the smoke. Jessica just returned home from surgery earlier that day and instead of resting and recovering, they have to deal with this crisis.

They cannot return home for 3 months while they do the cleanup and repairs. Their insurance only covers the structural damage and will not help them with the costs associated with putting a roof over their heads in the meantime

or replacing any of their personal belongings.

I am heartbroken for my friend and know how hard this is on their family. Anyone who knows Jessica, her husband Kevin, or their two kiddos Bryan and Lea, knows how much they do for their friends and loved ones and how selfless they are. In their time of need, anything helps to get them back on their feet. All donations will go towards the cost of an Extended Stay room rental, replacing necessary personal belongings like clothes and toiletries, and helping them cover food expenses.
