Hello!  We are Emily, and Jarad Jennings

I, (Emily) grew up at Huntington Lake, CA.  My family owns Lakeshore Resort, and Shaver stable. I met my husband, Jarad, at Mono Hot Springs. I spent 99 percent of my life in the Huntington, Shaver, and Auberry area. Recently, we were living on my parents property at the top of the four-lane. We evacuated due to the Creek Fire, and shortly after learned that our little studio; along with my parents entire property has been reduced to ash. Now, Jarad and I (plus our girl Sarah, a 20 pound fur baby) find ourselves homeless and unemployed. We were spending our summertaking guests out on trail rides in the beautiful Shaver Lake Proper. For now, we are “couch surfing” and trying to come up with a plan. Right now we’d like to raise some money to purchase a nice camper for our little truck, so that no matter where we go, we are home. We would love to be able to help our community rebuild after this tragedy. If we have a camper, we won’t need to worry about burdening, or overstaying welcomes.
