The Jenkins Family House Fund

I am a friend of the Jenkin's Family.  My daughter Skylar is best of friends with Victoria.  They both have Down syndrome.  About two and a half years ago, Russell and his two beautiful daughters, Samantha and Victoria lost Lisa abruptly and tragicly to cancer (his wife and their mother).  Finances have been tight with the loss of Lisa's income.  The family has recently been informed that they must find a new residence as the house they have been renting needs to be sold.  Russ found a new house to rent in the Elwood district (where he would like to keep his daughter Victoria in her classes with the small group of peers she has been with since Kindergarten and with the great program and teachers Elwood provides).   The moving expense for the family is tremendous as the rent is higher than what he is used to paying.  Also, he needs a realtors fee of one months rent, one month for security, one month for the first month's rent and an additional half month of the original rental.  He is trying to make ends meet but could use our help as soon as possible.  Please help this family in need to get back on their feet.
