Jefferson was hit by a speeding car on Tuesday, October 22nd at approximately 5:03pm. Jefferson is a very special cat to many Highland’s residents, he provides love, support, and therapy to many of people. Jefferson has a very long road of recovery ahead of him and the vet bills are going to be substantial. He will require a hip surgery and a jaw surgery. The current bill is around $2000 for the emergency care and the surgeries will be around $5000. 

A little more to Jefferson’s story:
Jefferson was dumped on Windsor Place a couple of years ago and was being cared for by multiple people on Windsor Place until we all decided that he would become our cat in return he would still stop and visit everyone and eat at every stop. Jefferson is the most mild mannered cat who has lots of fans and needs our support.
