Of all the things that Jason loved in his life, Lake Tahoe and the presence of good company would be at the top of the list. Lake Tahoe was Jason’s Church. Services were held on the boat, whenever possible, complete with champagne, chips and onion dip, and more than a few hilarious stories to the backdrop of 90’s hip hop.
Donations from this GoFundMe will go towards the installation of the Jason Neary North Shore Memorial Bench. I can’t imagine a more fitting tribute to Jason than a place for people to have a seat, take in the amazing beauty that is Lake Tahoe and quite possibly connect with a friend or perfect stranger.
Donations will be deposited into the Jason Neary Memorial Fund at the Tahoe City Bank of the West by way of my personal account per GoFundMe regulations. Amounts exceeding the cost of the memorials will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe.
I know that Jason would have loved this tribute. Thank you for helping to make it possible. I hope you can join us for his Celebration of Life this Spring in Tahoe City. Rest in peace Jason, you will forever be loved by many.
