The Jamie Sprague fund

It is with the heaviest heart and absolute deepest sadness to say that Jamie Sprague, a devoted and loyal husband, dedicated father, son, brother, and friend, died with his wife by his side yesterday, August 29th, 2021. Anyone who knew Jamie and loved him is suffering an unimaginable loss right now. He could not fight the fight any longer and Covid cut his life short…way too short. This is shocking and unbelievable, especially for his best friend and wife, Kirstie Sprague, and his two kids – Van, who is 8, and Drew, who is 4. Our lives will never be the same without him.

Anyone who knew Jamie knows that he was just awesome. He was the light and friend to SO many people because he cared so much about his family and friends. He touched such a broad spectrum of people and genuinely cared about them all. He had a personality like no other too. He had an intensity and passion for life that was fueled by his love for his family and friends, (and the Dodgers). There won’t be anyone like him again; we lost a beautiful soul.

We have created this GoFundMe page to help raise money for Jamie’s funeral expenses and unexpected costs associated with going from a two-income household to now only one. This last year has been hard for everyone dealing with the effects of Covid and Jamie and Kirstie obviously didn’t put any money aside for something as tragic as this. Kirstie and their kids are grieving an unbearable loss right now and we, as a family, want to take some of that heaviness and stress away by trying to raise some money to help contribute to the costs that come with saying goodbye and what the aftermath from that brings.
