THE JAMIE ADAMSON MEMORIAL FUND

Hi! On October 6th I’ll be running the Cardiff half marathon with the intention of raising money for a Barry based charity - The JAM fund. The charity was founded by a close friend of mine Paul Adamson, who sadly lost his son Jamie, aged 5, to Leukemia In 2004 . Since then his mission has been to raise money to support children with life threatening illnesses who sadly sometimes never make it through. The money raised goes towards holidays, presents, electronics, days out, bedroom makeovers, wheelchairs, a variety of medical equipment and so much more. It also assists families who have already lost their children. Recently, your donations went towards a new lilo and stitch headstone for a baby boy who's mother had gone to lay flowers on his grave, only to find his original headstone had been stolen. This will be my third time running this race! And I will continue to support the charity but I need a little help from you!
