Jim was a second year law student at Widener University Delaware Law School. He was in the top of his class receiving Dean's Honors both years. He also umpired youth baseball for Pinelands Umpire Association for 17 years.  He passed away too soon. To honor his memory and passion for law we created The James Patrick  McGory Memorial Scholarship fund to benefit a second year law student enrolled full-time at Widener University Delaware Law School  with a GPA of 3.0 or better,  who demonstrates perseverance  and dedication.
