On Wednesday, 28 January 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer, James passed away peacefully in Mallorca, surrounded by his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a deeply kind and generous friend to many.
He leaves behind his wife, Liska, and their much-loved seven-year-old son, Logan, as well as his sister Saffron, brother Toby, nieces Erika, Jemima and Mila, and his parents Dominic and Debbie.
James was diagnosed with an extremely aggressive form of colon cancer that spread rapidly. Despite the advances in chemotherapy and other treatments, his medical team were unable to stop or slow the progression of this particular cancer.
Throughout his illness, James endured many setbacks, including surgery that resulted in severe complications. Yet through his strength, resilience, and incredible determination, he never gave up hope and bravely fought until the very end.
During his journey, James often spoke about the importance of regular cancer screening and annual health checks - something many people in their 40's understandably do not prioritise. Sadly, cancer rates in people under the age of 50 have increased by 70–80% globally over the past 30 years.
The family kindly invites donations to the James Millott Memorial Fund. Proceeds will go towards Logan’s future education and Cancer Awareness Charities.
Your support, kindness, and understanding are deeply appreciated.
