Family and friends are mourning the loss of Jacob “Jake” Cato, who was killed on November 19, 2019. The shock of Jake’s passing has broken our hearts and filled our spirits with grief and disbelief. Those who knew Jake regarded him as a kind, loving, loyal friend and family member. As word spread of Jake’s death, stories were shared recounting his undeniable humanistic qualities, his veritable personality, and his devotion to those closest to him. To say Jake will be missed is a gross understatement.

As Jake’s family tries to cope with his passing, a large financial burden has befallen his grieving mother, Cathy, who now shoulders the unbearable pain of losing her child while being tasked with laying him to rest. We ask for your compassion and generosity in helping Cathy through this incredibly challenging time. Your contribution will go towards assisting Cathy in paying for the final arrangements for her beloved son and our dear friend.
