This is Jacob's mom, Pam. I don't have the words to describe how devastated we are by the loss of Jacob. Jacob had a major asthma attack that denied his brain oxygen for too long and he was unable to recover. Many of you knew him as Kidd and it was very soothing to us that so many of you were able to visit him before he passed. To hear how funny and kind he was to so many has been more helpful  than you will ever know.
Since Jacob was so young we donated his organs and yesterday alone he saved the lives of three strangers. We never thought that we would need to have a funeral for our son and this is an expense that we are not prepared for.
