A team of 12 will be traveling to Meru, Kenya this July to do work at the Methodist biointensive farm in Meru, Kenya.
The biointensive farm exists to:
· Increase the livelihood of the small farmer by teaching conservation and biodiversity.
· Teach small families to grow food and maintain a cow and calf and other livestock on less than an acre of land.
· Provide facilities for training the small farmers.
· Create awareness of technologies that are safe, efficient, and affordable.
Additionally, our team will hold medical clinics for deworming school children and build at least one home for a family without a home.
We are fundraising to support our mission to improve the livelihood of small farmers and provide essential services in Meru, Kenya.
The funds will be used to support the Methodist biointensive farm and to hold medical clinics and build homes for families in need.
